Calculation of the most appropriate ball size and grading to achieve maximum grinding efficiency is offered free of charge. Three types of Grinding Media are available.

Chromard series of alloys is available in sizes 16mm - 110mm diameter with chromium content between 12% and 30% depending on service conditions.
Chromard alloys are specially treated to hardness levels between 60HRc and 65HRc depending on size and application. |
Longwear Chillard Extra is a carefully improved variation of Cylpebs with additional chromium to give an improved hardness level of 57 - 60HRc. | Longwear Chillard Extra is a carefully improved variation of Cylpebs, where additional Chromium is added to give an improved hardness level of 57-60HRc. Due to greater specific surface area and improved bulk charge density it can be shown that in many applications cylpebs achieve a much greater grinding efficiency than any equivalent ball size. The unique production process allows for a consistent hardness level from surface to core leading to an even wear pattern in service. |
